María Fernanda provides Hershey|Cause clients with expertise in Latino social marketing, community relations, media relations and crisis communications. With more than 12 years of public relations and marketing experience, her background encompasses the public and private sectors, Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.

A native of Argentina, María Fernanda has always been passionate about building “conexiones” between people, and throughout her career has brought clients together with consumers, media and influencers. In senior positions in public relations agencies such as Hill & Knowlton and The Rogers Group – where she headed the Latino Strategies Group – she implemented public relations campaigns for the California Department of Health Services, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), Pfizer, California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and First 5 California, among others.

María Fernanda also served as Manager of Corporate Relations for Nissan North America where she managed the corporate giving and national gift matching program. Additionally, she was the lead company spokesperson for diversity, philanthropy and Hispanic marketing campaigns, having appeared on Univision, Telemundo, diversityinc.com and at a variety of diversity conferences. At Hispanic Business Magazine, her responsibilities included research, event planning and strategic marketing plans for Hispanic Business Magazine, SuperOnda magazine and HireDiversity.com
